Samuel M. “Sammy” Sullivan
October 22, 2024 – September 12, 2024

Born with his father’s charm and his mother’s wide smile, Sammy Sullivan brought joy to his parents, grandparents and all those he met. He shared his sense of joy at every turn, whether it was at the water park, grocery store, or just walking in his neighborhood.

The loss of Sammy was devastating to his family. He was only 22 months and was about to become a big brother. His illness was diagnosed as a flu-like virus by his pediatrician and it was only after his passing that we learned it was much worse.

Parents that have lost children deal with their grief in many ways. Joe and Brenda were determined to remember Sammy and his brief life. They developed the Sammy Sullivan Charities as a way to honor him and give comfort to others at their time of need. It’s their way to have Sammy’s smile live on.

Sammy will be forever remembered and loved by Joe and Brenda, his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and neighbors. His brother Matt and sister Brooke will come to know Sammy in time, too, as we share stories and ask Sammy to send in a special prayer for us.
